Walk-in wardrobe with sliding doors and central island

Dedicate an entire room to the wardrobe and the daily rituals associated with the art of dressing. In a large room it is possible to divide the space by obtaining the right size for a walk-in wardrobe divided from the sleeping area by a door with sliding doors. This is definitely fascinating and equally modern solution. It is a masterful interpretation of the Up&Down walk-in wardrobe, which offers many service elements that then find their focal point in the functionality of a central freestanding island, perfect for adding storage space to the walk-in wardrobe, while also providing a valuable storage point.

Island for walk-in wardrobe

If the space allows it, adding a centrepiece to the walk-in wardrobe can crown the dream of an open wardrobe that is both aesthetically and functionally perfect. The island for the walk-in wardrobe is a freestanding and centrepiece element that can be designed to suit the needs of the master of the house, but also the architectural constraints of the wardrobe space: one-sided or double-sided, the island can be customised with honeycomb elements, shelves or drawers. To enhance it all, a splendid glass shelf, able to provide a point of support for the daily routine.

In these pictures an overview of the Up&Down walk-in wardrobe, and some details on the central island. The walk-in wardrobe is made of panels in Canvas finish, with the insertion of a panel with Bronzo Mirror. The shelves and fittings are in a Louisiana Noce finish, while the clothes-hanging rails are in a Ghisa Metal finish. The Domino island is also in a Louisiana Noce finish and is equipped with honeycomb compartments and drawers with handles, whose Ghisa Metal finish echoes that of the clothes-hanging rails. To enrich it all, also creating a dividing element, is the Dea sliding door in Fumé glass, with a Ghisa Metal frame.
