Accessories

A wardrobe can only be considered functional if it is intelligently organised. Sometimes it’s not enough to position the shelves correctly — it’s essential to equip them with the right accessories. These are, in fact, what define the purpose of the furniture: depending on the accessories, a unit may be suited to a laundry room but not to a bedroom, and so on.

For example, a laundry room wardrobe may include a 30 cm compartment, perfect for storing an ironing board; and it should also feature laundry baskets and catch-all shelves. In a wardrobe used as a dressing area — whether a walk-in system or a hinged-door wardrobe — clothes rails, slanted shoe shelves and perhaps a pull-down rail will be essential to simplify everyday routines.
